COVID restrictions have meant that our branch and other meetings have taken place on-line, and we haven’t been able to organise a normal programme of events and activities.

What is phone banking and can I get some training?

Phonebanking is traditionally done by groups of volunteers who come into a campaign office and contact a list of voters using a call script. This year of course  canvassers will use their own phones or browser-based dialling tools from home.  All interactions are captured by logging drop-down responses to set questions. In this way, thousands of voters can be contacted and potential supporters can be followed up.  If you volunteer, training will be available.
